That's
me standing on the dial plate. The inner and outer dial has
been completed. A ramp has been located on the south side but
will be modified later.
The outer dial and medallion required about 315 sq. ft. of 1.875 inch thick etched-polished granite. The granite tiles weigh 8860 pounds. |

| These men put in a great effort helping us build the sundial. I feel that it became more that just a job for them. In a very short time they became personally involved in the job and worked very hard to do the best job possible. This is evident by how wonderful the dial plate looked when they left. It was great working with them and we were very fortunate to have these particular men working with us. | |
